#DDPraiseChallenge Day 3
John 9:1-7, 35-41.
1And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
2And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
3Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
4I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
5As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
6When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,
7And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.
35Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?
36He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?
37And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.
38And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.
39And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.
40And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?
41Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.
Poem for Today:
Separate by Choice
Christians. Either Self-Proclaimed or proclaimed by the life we live.
Separate by obligation or by choice.
Are you willing to be persecuted to be separate by choice?
Marred and beat to death, our Savior was persecuted so that we may live.
So why are we, Christians, feeling like we should be exempt?
Feeling like our Savoir already took the blame,
Why should we have to suffer for His name?
That wasn’t in the plan; He already took the pain so we did not have to suffer.
What!? Are you too coward to live as an example, separated from the world?
Or are you ready to be separate by choice?
Persecution is coming, whether you’re ready for it or not; whether you feel like you shouldn’t have to go through that or not. So might as well be ready for it!
My Thoughts for Today:
Today I have learned that time is so short and we must accomplish what God has called us to do ASAP. WE must TRULY be examples and leaders for the world today, while we still can. (John 9:1-7)
I also learned that we are accountable for what we know but do not do. Therefore, we are guilty of sin and disobedience to the Lord. I also learned that we must live completely separate from the world. We live In the world but we are not OF it!
I’m preparing to get persecuted for my faith. I’m ready for it. The more I prepare my mind for it, the less I will be afraid of it. Don’t let fear of someone lashing out at you for your faith keep you from spreading the TRUE gospel, not the sugarcoated gospel, but the TRUE gospel.
I will be blogging about persecution soon, so keep an eye out for it!
Love you guys and God is crazy in love with YOU!
