I don’t know about you all, but eating when flies try to attack your food is quite the annoyance! Especially when, every two minutes, you have to shoo them off. I rebuked the flies, got mad at the flies and managed to drop a bit of my food. I got irritated with Yahweh (yes, I let Him know my every little annoyance) and then He spoke to me; “Persistence, My child”.
Simple, yet, so true.
So many of us Christians (myself included) tend to give Yahweh a to-do list, then go about our days. While I do believe some things only require you to ask Yahweh once and then thank Him for it until and after you have received it, but some things require persistence and warfare.
If Yeshua did not require persistence in some things, He would not have discussed this very topics during the time of His earthly ministry and appearance.
Here is some scripture to back up what I am saying: Matthew 7:7-8; Luke 11:9-10; Acts 13:2-3; Genesis 1:26,28; Ephesians 1:21; Luke 10:19; Colossians 2:15; John 16:24.
So many times I would ask Yahweh for something and it would take days, weeks, months and even years to finally manifest itself. I would get so frustrated and angry with Yahweh (still kind of do) and could never understand WHY IN THE WORLD it took so long to manifest my healing, promise or whatever else.
If the words you speak out of your mouth do not align with the prayer you seek from Yahweh, it can completely STIFLE your promise.
When we ask Yahweh for something, we have to BELIEVE that we have received it the moment we asked for it, thank Yahweh for giving it to us, and speak and act in align with the promise, regardless of how we may feel.
Feelings lie. Symptoms lie. Firmly and persistently believe on the promise that Yahweh has given YOU.
Also remember to take your authority over the enemy, plead the blood of Yeshua over your situation and continue to worship Yahweh in SPIRIT and in TRUTH.
I love you guys!
